Letter to Oregon Health Authority Concerning Proposal to Discriminate on the Basis of Race in Prioritizing Access to Covid Vaccines

The ACR Project submitted a letter to the Oregon Health Authority, concerning the reported intention of the Oregon Vaccine Advisory Committee to recommend affording priority in Phase 1b of the state’s COVID-19 vaccination process to particular groups on the basis of race, ethnicity, and national origin.  The ACR Project expressed our concern that this violated state and federal law and may require judicial intervention.
